We've invested in world-class CAD/CAM technology to design, mill and fit your permanent ceramic crown in a single appointment.
At Tuddenham Road Dental Surgery, we have also digitised the entire process. Using the advanced CEREC Primescan, we create a digital 3D map of your tooth in seconds.
No goo, no gagging and no delay. Walk in with a damaged tooth, walk out with a flawless smile.
The Scan
Instead of impression putty, we use a specialized camera to capture a precise 3D digital model of your mouth. It is fast, comfortable, and incredibly accurate.
The Mill
Your restoration is designed on-screen. This data is sent to our on-site milling unit, which crafts your bespoke crown from a solid block of high-grade ceramic in just 15 minutes.
The Fit
There is no "temporary" phase. We polish and bond your permanent, colour-matched crown immediately. You leave the surgery with your smile fully restored.

While CEREC technology is revolutionary, it is not a "one size fits all" solution. Certain complex cases or specific bite alignments may still require a traditional laboratory approach for the best long-term result.
Your suitability will be determined by Mr. Paraskevopoulos during your initial consultation. He will assess your tooth structure and bite to confirm if a Same-Day restoration is the safest and most durable option for your specific case.
